March Newsletter

Welcome to the March Edition of Epping Area MG Owners Club Newsletter

This time of year can be a challenge when it comes to days out, we may have had some unseasonably warm weather over the last couple of weeks but this time last year we had snow courtesy of the Beast from the east.

The 15th to 17th saw a couple of members attend the Classic Car show at Excel. I made the mistake of driving there, only to get stuck in traffic at the bottom of the A406 due to a couple of HGV’s having an accident. Once there, it was a reasonable show but the emphasis seemed to be on expensive exotic cars with less stands than I would have hoped for. The were some interesting cars and the live displays and talks by well known people was interesting.

The 16th saw a small group of cars join Cambridge & District’s Snowdrop Run. This was apparently a good run through the Cambridgeshire countryside ending at Chippenham Park Gardens, where they have some excellent gardens and a pleasant Tea room.

On Wednesdays club night (6Th March) Lisa is planning to discuss and gauge people’s opinions on upcoming events, I’ve updated the Up Coming Events page on the website so if you get a chance to look at this before Wednesday you can give Lisa your opinion.
